Director
Kia ora, my name is Rukshana Kapadia and I am the Director of Piccolo Park Early Learning Centre in Botany.
I was born in Fiji and moved to New Zealand twenty years ago, completing a Diploma in Business and a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education from the Auckland University of Technology.
I have a son, Rayaan, who has given me my most fulfilling role as a parent as well as more insight into the mind of a child. My experience as both a teacher and a parent has instilled in me the importance of early learning. I, therefore, take pride in providing a safe and stimulating environment for young children with teachers who share in children’s curiosity and enthusiasm for learning!
I am a very involved Centre Director and you will often find me talking to whānau about their child’s learning and engaging in experiences with children alongside the teachers at Piccolo Park.
