Opening 2021! We’re excited to announce the planned opening of our newest childcare centre, Piccolo Park Dannemora, due to open in 2021. Situated on the corner of Chapel and Smales Road, this site will incorporate another historic building – just as we had taken on for our very first centre in Botany.

Piccolo Park is a very encouraging environment for our little Jessica. Thinking about experiences at a previous childcare centre, the way Piccolo Park stands out is their personal touch towards every child, the interactive learning experiences, the development of Jessica’s personality, and the overall hygiene levels. It’s amazing how quickly and easily they got her toilet trained. The staff are so welcoming that she didn’t have any problems settling in.
Our son Denzel started at Piccolo Park child care centre when he was 7 months old. I love the 7:30am-6:00pm hours, which allows for flexible drop-offs and pick-ups. There atmosphere is welcoming and friendly and the staff are very nurturing. They take care of our “childcare” needs, education, physical activity, and more! A huge thanks to the teachers and staff at Piccolo Park.
Piccolo Park has been a fantastic place for our daughter’s growth & confidence since she started at the age of 4. The staff are amazing. When they greet us and tell us everything about our daughter’s day, they ALWAYS have smiles on their faces. They’re genuinely interested in what she does. They take notice of her habits and her strengths and then they nurture those strengths. We wholeheartedly recommend Piccolo Park.
As a first time mum returning to work, I was really nervous about leaving my baby with strangers. The Piccolo Park team made the transition much easier. It’s great knowing that my son is well cared for in a calm environment where he is encouraged to explore and learn new skills.
Thank you for taking such good care of our daughter and making sure her learning is fun – we feel fortunate to have found you. It makes going to work so much easier knowing that she has a safe place to be where she can thrive and be loved. Sending our daughter to Piccolo Park was a great decision and she will happily stay there until it is time for her to attend school. The teachers are fantastic, warm and friendly people who give each child personal attention. The facilities are always bright and clean, and it makes me feel good to know they serve healthy, homemade meals.
Piccolo Park is an amazing child care centre. When my daughter Anah-Maria started there she was reserved, quiet and shy. Now she’s the most outgoing, adventurous and spontaneous little girl ever. The staff are just superb, they’re all very easygoing and very caring. The culture, diversity and their philosophy is what attracted me. They help children succeed by exploring and engaging with other schools, e.g. Sylvia Park School for reading. This reflects Vygotsky’s theory of scaffolding and ZPD – giving children a social nature of learning. I couldn’t have asked for better than the team at Piccolo Park.
